Since its founding in 2001, FINANCIAL GATES GmbH has become one of the leading finance publishers of finance-related cross-media platforms. F.A.Z. Group, the publisher of Germany’s leading daily F.A.Z., is the majority owner. Additionally, twelve Financial Gates employees are equity partners.

We have successfully established a leading position in the financial services ad market through our flexible and efficient positioning services.

Our flagship publications focus on three core target groups:

• CFOs of private-sector companies (the German magazine "FINANCE" since 2000), in eastern Europe (the English "FINANCE in Emerging Europe" magazine since 2008), and in western and southern Europe (the English “FINANCE in Europe” magazine since February 2010)
• Treasurers of municipalities and public-sector companies (newspaper “Der Neue Kämmerer“)
• Leaders of medium-sized businesses (the German “Markt und Mittelstand” magazine and "wir" magazine)

Each of these publications is at the centre of a family of thematically related products that come in various media formats:

1. Events (conferences, seminars, etc.)
2. Job exchanges (mostly online; since 2010 exclusively marketed by F.A.Z.)
3. Specialized publications (news services, online portals, etc.)
4. Research (studies, market research, etc.)

It is possible to attune this finely differentiated and steadily growing product family comprising about 150 formats to subgroups of our core target groups as well as to individual regions of German-speaking countries in order to address them in a lasting and non-scattershot way.

Besides its standard services, FINANCIAL GATES also works with its clients to develop and implement individual and exclusive positioning strategies that are tailored to their specific sales needs.

FINANCIAL GATES employs about 40 staff in three office locations, Frankfurt (head office; also seat of the editorial teams of “FINANCE”, “FINANCE Emerging Europe”, “FINANCE Europe”, “Der Neue Kämmerer” and of the advertising department), Friedberg (seat of general management, events section and editorial team for “Markt und Mittelstand”), and Cologne (seat of the “wir” editorial team).
